Zakat

Zakat being one of the five pillars of Islam, is mandatory for every sane, adult Muslim who owns wealth over a specific amount, known as the Nisab.

He or she must pay 2.5% of this wealth as Zakat.

Zakat donations will contribute to the following zakat applicable projects:

• Building homes for the poor through Housing Programmes
• Feeding those in need through Family Sponsorships
• Cash donations to eligible individuals/families
